I collect artifacts and that sure looks like a paleolithic blade to me. If it is legit it is worth $. That said, I have a nice collection of hobble skirt cokes I'd trade him for. Many bottles for one rock...

He should get it authenticated and appraised

Hey, Rick. Great find. A fluted Clovis point is at least 12,000 years old. If it's real it should be worth big bucks but don't know what the market is on one these days. Can't tell how big it is by your pic. I would say the bigger the more it's worth. How long is it? You might check with Lexdigger. He would know what it's worth for sure.

I found one in 2006 , selling on ebay it brought 35 percent of book price at the time. Which paid for the trip in which it was found in middle tenn. It was similar and called a cumberland point.

I don't think he will sell it, because he is heavy into relics.But I would sell that in a heart beat [8D]
