New Christmas Mason Jar

I just got this jar in the mail today and am incredibly pleased. I already had a Ball blue Christmas Mason and now have an aqua version to set next to it. This one has some fantastic glass swirling across the front and an original correct Sun-Moon-Star lid.

I think the Christmas Mason has some of the most interesting embossing font you can find.

Wonderful jar, I was / am thinking of George, God rest his soul, as I look at those swirls. He would drool over that one.

Hi Tom, Nice pieces. I have to ask - are the swirls on the inside or the outside of the jar? i assume them to be on the outside, which means the parison had to turn when hung in the mold with the transfer bead, and it is hard to tell what caused it. RED Matthews - bottlemystery.

Red, I do believe the swirls (if that's even the right term to use) are on the outside and it does appear as you described. Definitely an in-the-making "imperfection", and I'm glad it survived!
