The Burdock Blood Bitters came in two basic types, this one being the more common variant... The other is embossed "Toronto Ont." rather than Buffalo NY...

Also note that the Trinidad Bitters is very similar in shape and embossing style to the ubiquitous J.G.B. Siegert & Co. bitters bottle...

That's wild about the trinidad being rare in '65. They are a constant up here. See at least one in every shop. Sometimes, for about $10.

The blood bitters is one of the finer examples I have seen, but still not worth the $40, yet, apparently. Guess you are going to have to put one of those bottles from your top shelf into the mix to get this crowd going.

Still, they will look good in my window. Nice bottles and well worth the fitty. You get a pat on the back for helping support what we all know to be a daily blessing in our lives.
