Pink Shoe ink well bottle?
Hello everyone! I wanted to share the below with the group! I found this little gem a few weeks ago while diving. Its a shoe shaped bottle, which I am assuming is an inkwell of some sort. The bottle is pink in color and has quite a lot of detail in the glass. There are laces embossed on the shoe as well as the bow knot at the top of the shoe. It also has a proper heel piece embossed / designed on the bottle. Its only about 2.5 inches long. On the bottom of the bottle, there is an embossing of R&M. I am not sure on the date of this bottle (I am assuming 1890s). Also, I am not sure if the R&M is the maker's mark or if its the company name of the product sold. Also, any idea on rarity? Any info on this little one would be greatly appreciated. Thanks[attachment=Shoe1.jpg] [attachment=Shoe2.jpg] <Edit: Font change>
