I’ve tried to capture this bottle that a dear old woman friend gave me helping to move her out of her grandfathers house( a dilapidated 24 room mansion in San Francisco). She said only doctors could have alcohol for medicinal purposes. He father and grandfathers were both SF doctors in their early century lives.?This flask is complete with cork, jigger cap and tax stamp. I thought you guys might like seeing it. Strangely enough I’m not much of a signage/ label attached collector. I do like the embossing and the history but to me this is more a museum artifact then a finding a cool glass bottle that shows its survival of being buried or hidden behind a wall 120 years ago. What do you all think a bottle like this might be worth? I’m curious as it’s not my genre per se’.
