There was an old post that I made earlier in the year about the Red Wing Union Stoneware Company and their fruit jars here.https://www.antique-bottles.net/forum/Trip-to-Red-Wing-Minnesota-Jar-Pictures-m615437.aspx I saw on the news just now that what remains of the pottery will be closed or sold if possible by years end. This company is over 140 years old. I'm not sure what will happen to their museum, but they have many stoneware fruit jars that would likely be dispersed if they were to close. A few of these jars are extremely rare or singular jars.

Road Dog, if you have a spare cookie jar lid, I'm looking for a particular Red Wing lid for my mother. She's got a "Happy the Children" cookie jar with a lid that's wrong. If you've got one that you could part with, let me know! Just a shot in the dark...

This was one of those jars prone to lid damage because of the flat knob on the lid making the lid hard to keep hold of. Sorry, I don't have a lid for that one.
