I can't date it with the little knowledge that I have, but I can tell you its rather old and could pull a pretty penny to the right collector. It would appeal to several types of collectors, signs, rail road collectors and us glass nuts.

Dating those might be really tricky. I remember them still being in use when I was younger, in the mid to late 70s.

washed up with a rag and soap. The last pic is with headlights, the sign lights up purdy good.

The sign has glass cat's eye reflectors. The sign is easily worth $100-$150, and probably more with careful cleaning/restoration.
Age is likely late 1930s to early 1950s.
