well heres more woods finds, man the bugs are getting bad bees yuk!!!! this bottle is awsome, and im thinking a tad rare, the research ive done so far tells me it was bottled at the marion va. dr pepper plant, that i believe is long defunct, theres a lot of history in marion va , as there were a lot of bottling plants there mike

i have a listing for 3 types of sun flower beverages. 2 from marion va and 1 from north wilksboro nc.

That sunflower one isn't one that I have run into, which is odd as I live near Marion.

Update: I found one of these at an antique store, and bought it for my local bottle collection.

There is also a Sunflower bottle from Norton, VA. With blue and white paint. This bottle is fairly hard to come by, I only know of about 3 that exist, although I'm sure there are more.

I'm assuming that you are referring to this type. Both of these are from Marion, I have never come across a Norton...yet. So far the only Norton bottles I have are a couple of 76s and a Pepsi.

By the way who bottled these in Norton?

Yeah, those are the style of the Sunflower bottle from Norton. The one I have from Norton isn't in the best of condition, part of the ACL on the front is slightly faded (still nicer than the other two that I've seen).
