The Northern Ontario Bottling Works Soda Bottle Found.

Couldn't fine an example of this one online so thought I'd give it a post. lovely; The Northern Ontario Bottling Works South Porcupine & Timmins. Found digging in Northern Ontario.. Obviously lol! Amazing pick and shovel mining pictorial on the center of the bottle!

seen some similar bottles at the Toronto bottle show , was some from that area before , was a mining boom there in 1910-30's so actually a fair number of bottles from the Timmins > Kirkland Lake area
its not listed in my book for some reason but likely is from the 1910's- 20's

Id Guess 1912 because every other bottle from the area was from 1912 and a dated intact news paper from May 1912 as well.

1912 would make sense , is a number of bottlers from that area which aren't listed for some reason , likely have something to do with the boom/bust cycle , a bottler might of appeared and disappeared rather quickly and never made it into local directories or business records

as an example there is a lot of bottlers listed for Cobalt Ontario which was a nearby silver boom town but I've also come across several from that town which aren't listed , so seems to be a few from up there which were harder to track down when author wrote the book
