Thanks again.The number on the bottom is a design patent; This bottle patent was given to Jack Skolnik of New Rochelle, NY and Robert H. Knies of Westport, CT, assignors of the Richardson-Merrill Inc., on April 30, 1968, and originally would of had a small measuring cup on top. Richardson-Merrill Inc was a pharmaceutical company. I assume it was some kind medicine, and is shaped similar to things like Vicks Cold & Flu in the modern day.
