Here are some "show globes" that I got from the estate of a long-time chemist in the South Florida phosphate industry. These contain phosphate-derived chemicals. In the photo, the yellowish content appears to be Sulphur, while the blackish content is a glittery marcasite sand. I don't know what is in the largest globe.
The bottles have no seams, no evidence of being turned in a mold, and no tool marks I can discern. I don't know how they were made. I've owned them for thirty years, and I believe they date to the early part of the 20th Century.
I have a few extras of this larger size, if someone here wants to own one.
