What is these bottles with metal art casings

There are neat, I picked these up at a small shop on a trip last month on a nic nac shelf but I think they are old and cool. As far as I can tell by looking deep in side of the welding the bottles look to have applied top. And the shape are a old style also. But the medal work is killer. They look to maybe a vinegar or oil bottles but not sure. If any one has seen anything like this please post. Thanks.

Interesting, those long necks make me think they had another purpose other than oil & vinegar

kind of hard to really see the bottles.
They look fairly late judging from the number scheme on the bottoms and the mold style.
Would be nice to know what the lip treatments are and if they are hand blown.
