Any help identifying?
Port Dundas Glasgow Pottery Company I believe. I think they operated from 1828 until possibly the 1920's or possibly early 30's .Not sure exactly when they went out. Probably a Scottish merchant jug. Johnny M.

Yes, they were in Glasgow Scotland!

This jug would have been used by a local business, presumably in or near the town where you found it, so your best bet is to look through old directories for an Alex Mc______________ who sold any sort of beverage which might be sold by the jug.

Interesting to see a Port Dundas pottery stamp near the mouth of the jug, I've only ever seen those makers' marks at the heel.
