Olive Type Jar (stoneware)

This jar actually had pitch in side it which was used on the rigging on old sailing ships/vessels. some of the pitchum as it was called is still inside it[8D]

Hi Gary, some of the bottles come up in perfect condition as if they were made today & others with a dull or flat exterior,it depends on the mud they are buried in and how deep i think. The area i am finding them has a new ship teminal/dock only 2 years old. The depth is between 40-55 ft deep &...

Also here is a Udolfo Wolfe's found in the same area. I also found patent wisky three part, dip mold cylinder. My dive budy's also found cobalt & cornflower blue sauce jars, sealed zara bottle,torpedoe's, marble bottles, ink wells, blown mallet bottle etc all the same area.

Also found this biningers #17 Broadstreet, i have a #338 but cant find info on this one, any info on rarety/value etc would be great. I know this bottle came with different address numbers, i.e #19, 375,338 etc and different shapes, colors.
