Nice looking bottles!
What do they look like when you bring them up from the bottom?

Hi Gary, some of the bottles come up in perfect condition as if they were made today & others with a dull or flat exterior,it depends on the mud they are buried in and how deep i think. The area i am finding them has a new ship teminal/dock only 2 years old. The depth is between 40-55 ft deep & the ships bow and stern thrusters as well as propellers are doing a great job of uncovering them.
Unfortunately some of the bottles get destroyed this way. The bottom in this area is probably 8-10 ft deep with fine mud & silt, in some cases when the thrusters are used heavily it looks like a crater exposing all types of bottles.[8D]
Hi Bill, i think i will hold on to this one as it is a great addition to my collection, but if i find another you will be sure to know.[8D]
