General Grant? bottle - Please help us identify!

Very interesting bottle, Swizzle! Thanks for showing it here. But, they are not the same bottle as the one I posted above. Could be a repro I agree, but there are differences in the man's face structure. Brad

General Grant? bottle - Please help us identify!

No, it is not pontiled but definately dates from the turn of the century or before. No made in Italy embossing, either.

Some of my violins were found in Lehi, Utah, under an old building floor in downtown. The others were dug in the Tintic area.

    Holy Water bottle stopper?

"I agree with diggerjeff about it being a purfume " Does anyone know what brand perfume or style bottle this stopper was used in?

And the third case. I will be putting in more bottles when the museum gets in their new display cases- these shown here are only about 1/3 of my collection.

Thanks SO much for your reply. But now I'm interested in finding an antique holy water bottle - any suggestions where I might start my search?

    Holy Water bottle stopper?

Found this bottle stopper at the site of a long abandoned mining camp in Nevada. A friend suggested that it might be from a bottle of holy water. Any ideas what it might indeed be from?

General Grant? bottle - Please help us identify!

This bottle was dug back in the early 70s in the Tintic area of Utah. Our best guess is that it is a figural of General Ullysses Grant (sp?). Can anyone tell us ANYTHING about this bottle? Picture cropped to a reasonable size! - Admin
