Improved Hero Jar

The jar reads THE HERO IMPROVED. The lid we found was in the privy with the jar . I didn't think it went with the hero. Both the jar and lid are listed on ebay now. Thanks Don

Improved Hero Jar

We recently dug a Improved Hero Jar are they common or do they have any value ? We also found A.Kline fruit jar lid with lugs on top not the kline that says use a pin any value ? Thanks Don

SPECIAL BOTTLE IN NEED OF CLEANING

Try gasoline I've used it several time and it works great. Put some gas in it and let it sit for a couple days. the paint should come right out.

Privy questions for the experts!

Kevin It's most likely a privy if your sure it's not a well. No telling what age . Just dig and find out. Good luck and let us know what you get.

Kevin you said you know the feel of the privy so probe straight down about 1 foot apart to one side till your not in the privy. Then repeat the other way till you have all 4 walls.

We just dug an aqua blob top embossed W.N. Zinn Block Z in the middle Carlisle Pa. Is it common ? Thank's Don

Blue Bottle with eagle perched on a crest, Looking for some info!

Very nice bottle . Probably dates in the 1850's . No doubt iron pontil with that single taper top. If in good condition it's pretty valuable.

Hi Sarah The C G & Co stands for Charles Grove & co . Very nice . I collect Lancaster and Columbia Pa soda's. I'd really like to see the blue one.

Did anybody hear of an amber bottle embossed Dr.Browns on one side and One and only one on the other side. It has an applied crown top. I can't find any info on it. Thanks.
