    Nifty, was wondering what this bottle held.... bottle embossed 4 sides: side 1 ~ Mrs Winslow's side 2 ~ Soothing Syrup side 3 ~ Curtis & Perkins side 4 ~ Proprietors Placed beside other aqua colored bottles this one is definitely on the green side also (don't mind the gunk):

    Sorry I can't offer any expert or specific insight into the ink you found, although it is very similar to one I found about a month ago in some material excavated from a site known to be involved in the "Great Saint John Fire of 1877" (link has more info.)...

    When I was washing the mud out I had my fingers crossed that there was more than just dirt rattling around inside. Of course there wasn't anything besides dirt. Thanks for the input guys, I really appreciate it.
