I think thats a great idea!! But the problem is I am nowhere near PA!!:( I live about 1200 miles away in Texas! We go to Cook's Forest,PA on vacation to our cabin rentals there about twice a year and bring back estate auction finds. This was one of them. Its a pretty big bottle. . . almost 12...

I have a tall lavender colored bottle that reads " Adams Bottling Works" New Kensington, P.A. - the problem is I want to find out the history of the bottling company and can't seem to find anything on the internet about it. Does anybody know anything about the history of this company ? Thanks!

Bottle Color/Maker Help

Here's another color question! Actually I was wondering if anyone knew what maker this probably came from as well. It is yellow with orange/yellowish/amber streaks running thru the cast of the glass. I tried cleaning the bottle with water only very well but the color streaks are not a stain like...

What color

thank you for your help! I thought it was one of the two, but an insulator collector told me I should say "forest green" .. I'm glad I asked you guys ! thanks again. :) It's a neat bottle & I'd keep it but I have too many others & it doesnt go with all my pharmacy/apothecary ones I'm collecting...

What color

I am getting ready to sell a few bottles from an estate auction I picked up..including this congress & empire spring bottle. what color green would you call this? Emerald Green? It's a dark green and almost black looking in some areas when the light hits it right. Any ideas? I don't want list it...

unknown bottle

I have this bottle that I acquired from an estate sale that I have been trying to identify. It has no marks on the underside, just a circular impression. It has a seam that runs up the side and stops just below the lip of the bottle. It is a dark brown color and thick glass. 4 panels. Any help...

Hi, I am new to collecting and recently acquired a large lot of bottles from an estate auction in PA. I have this one that I was wondering about, does anyone know around what time the bottle was produced? The seam does run all the way up the side right to underneath the lip. It reads "Bells"...
