Yeah the point I found earlier that day. The tooth and the point came from sifting the sediment near a creek dump site. One of the better points I have found when sifting.
i found these today. The looks like a human moler. Any one know if when people lost teeth way back when if they would go out with the trash? Seems about right.
Yeah a lot of the points from around here are pretty small. The larger flake has some work on it and the obsidian flakes are not to commen around these parts so i tend to pick em up. Anyone have a date on the bird? Here are a few from over the years..

Hey good luck Rick, I sure wish there was more 1880's glass around here.. The town i'm in (Forest Grove, Oregon) is a small town founded around the 1890's so older stuff is not as common. As opposed to a bigger, older town or city.
kastoo, i have been trying to do this for the past 2 years but it appears that over time the water changed course and that the bottles are coming out of the ground under the water. My answer to this is a rake. The water is about wast high right now and should go down a about a foot by summer.
