Today I found a milk bottle in the river that says "Farway Dairy....Pure Milk....Hallandale, FLA". I've never found one of these before, and I can't find any info on Ebay or by Googling. Does anyone know anything about this bottle?
Thanks for the links, guys! That's cool to know a "common" lid sold for so much. But I'm too stingy with my finds to ever let this one go. It's got a permanent display spot in my living room now. [:)]
While searching the riverbank a couple evenings ago, I spotted this "pocket" sundial on top of the sand after high tide. I think it is my most favorite find to date. Does anyone have an idea as to how old this may be? It is about 3 inches in diameter. There is no writing on the back to clue...
My husband found this potlid tonight while we were looking for bottles along the riverbank. I have searched online to find another one but can't come up with an exact match. Can someone shed some light on the rarity and age of this lid?

Thanks, guys! Dansalata, that is an awesome one! That is how I want to display mine on my shelf. Someone sent me this link earlier today: SHA Conservation Treatments I'm going to check it out and try to follow the guidelines!

No clue about the medicines. None of them had any kind of embossing on them to help me research them. I am happy about the Buds though! :) We also found a broken Bud in the pit, and a couple months ago I found a broken Bud in the river. I'm crossing my fingers that there are more in the...
Not sure what it was. It was right next to a big stump. The tree may have not even been there back when they were doing their dumping. And yes, I believe we got it all. All the bottles were between 1 and 3 feet deep. There were also bricks, rusted tin cans, and a few large bones in the hole.
After probing and digging, probing and digging, probing and digging, I finally found a bottle pit on my parents' property.......and not even by probing! I was metal detecting and came across something, so I started digging. I uncovered a small piece of brass, and TONS of broken glass. Broken...
I found a couple interesting objects in the river mud last night. I know the piece on the right is part of a broken clay pipe, but I have no clue about the brass piece. Seems like a cap that would have been on a bottle or jar. The top piece slides up and down to open or close the hole...
