Found this metal ring while metal detecting. The ring part being about the size of a quarter. Anyone recognize it?

Well guys, It looks like a valve turnig tool to me. My Dad was a plumber and worked for the Navy's Sampson Hospital on Seneca Lake and I think he had a couple similar ones on his key ring - back around 1945. RED Matthews
