Help with new bottle

I picked this one up last week at a flea market. I have been soaking it to remove gunk that had dried inside it. The bottle is amethyst, 9 1/2" tall and 2" diameter at base. It has one sunken label panel. What intrigued me was the bottom of the bottle, an embossed bird. I did a search on this...

Amazing...I can't imagine digging a hole and pulling these out of the ground. Keep us updated when you return to that site.
