ive got a bottle thats the same shape as that one but has FB on the base, any ideas?

WANTED: Insise thread closures

thats unfortunate, there are a fair few over here. ive got one ive been trying to sell for ages, good condition and embossed. i put $1 on it and still no one bought it. crazy but they dont have that much appeal here

bottles you dig that you don't keep

In New Zealand for me anyway i dont bother with anything thats after the 1940s or any that are just plain with no embossing. I Think most of us are like that over here, theres just too much plain stuff and new stuff that has no appeal, you also end up with too many if you keep everything, ive...

atleast the lids not made of plastic :) ive got afew screw capped bottles, some are more desirable than others. especially ones with labels, good job man :)

New Zealand Bottle Hole

heres what came out of it. most were plain and i buried them again but it was still alot of fun i also found some solid brass things that had been chromed. part of some kind of canopy for a covered wagon or open top car or something. If anyone is interested i can post some photos

Tacky Bottles

i see bottles like that sold over here. the do sell to some collectors, i know jim beam out out some special edition bottles. if you could clarify that these were jim beam ud have a good chance of seling them, there are jim beam collectors out there. one dude here was seling his jim beam...

Maugham Patents Help Please

I recently bought a maugham patent. that is the bottle with the round base as apposed to the pointed base of the hamilton or torpedo. sounds normal so far right? the strange thing is the bottle has a crown seal. now i know the purpose of the round base whas to keep the cork wet and prevent the...

Tamer Juice

Hello from New Zealand. I recently came across an old medical style bottle with "tamer juice" along the edges. Its aqua in color and has an applied top. Can anyone help me with this one?
