    Sunday afternoon dig - continued

    In the bottle dump I was digging this summer it was kinda the same way, at points. I would find cork medicines, karl hutter top bottles, and bottle cap types, usually right in the bottom of the holes. I also found lots of square and round nails, pieces of pipes, building materials, thick layers...

    Pipe from 1st privy**NICE ONE TOO!!!

    I found several like that. One had Glascow on it and the other had GERMAN then the rest of the stem was broke off. The funny thing was, that according to a archaeology book I had, TD was supposed to be a British maker of pipes.

    Hello, Would like to know if anyone has bottles from Glens Falls area. To be honest I'm not looking to buy them but do history on them. Finding so many local ones in my yard has got me doing a lot of research. I would like to do a short history on them for the local history room...

    summer dig

    i did find part of a log cabin bitters, I think, there were pieces of bottle with log and part of bitt in one of the holes. I did find a PAINES CELERY COMPOUND and HAGEES CORDIAL COD-LIVER BOTTLE though.
