    THE 3rd MOST POPULAR ACL?

    Deacon Jones from Saginaw MI.

    ACL question?

An error bottle of a popular brand may gain some novelty value, but it needs to be really messed up. Otherwise, collectors want perfectly aligned labels.

    My Collection, lack of knowledge

Welcome to the forum! What a great collection to start out with. As a collector who started out young, I can say it's a fun hobby. My advice would be to keep learning and to not be afraid of making mistakes. At the same time, start thinking about how you are going to limit your collection...

    Red & White Barq's

I think it's a flavor bottle too. Although, I'm pretty sure Barq's began in Biloxi, Mississippi - which is not too far from NO.

    What the heck is this?

Malt-flavored Mountain Dew. They call it Johnson City Gold and it's part of their regional campaign. Has anyone tried it? Think it will catch on? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/15/mountain-dew-johnson-city-gold-soda_n_1778439.html

Can someone explain this Coca-Cola Bottle Chart?

What chart is that? Can you show a picture of page 85? (the rest of the Michigan Cokes)

    A few new ACL sodas

It's not common, but they can be found. Usually see them between $5 and $15. Could go for more on eBay.

    new ACLs from auction

Yeah, almost all the O-So's are from Detroit, but there's a King size like the one you have from Williamston that I'm looking for. I know Clare, MI had an O-So plant. Probably other cities too, but I don't know which.

    new ACLs from auction

Nice haul, I epecially like the decos you picked up. Let me know if any of those O-So's are from Williamston, MI.

BANG for the BUCK! Crazy good for cheap.

I've always thought the Black Kow Acl was one of the better-looking commons.

    Attention Dennis:

On the bottom rack, by the guy's foot it looks like "ARB." Could there be something that started with CHARB?

    led by ClarksLooking for

I think their crawler found "led" in the title and thought it was about LED lights and figured they might be able to hook all the LED enthusiasts on the antique-bottles forum.

    Recommend me an ACL book

No, that translates to "there are three editions of the book, but the first two suck. There was supposed to be a fourth one coming out, and some people even put money down, but it never happened and that's why it's a can of worms." [:D] My translation was coming from "if you don't have one...

    Recommend me an ACL book

This one's not perfect and not exhaustive by any means, but it's probably the one you want. Unfortunately, like Pat said, it's near impossible to get anymore.

Wonder if this is a rare one?

I've got one, but I've never seen another. I think it could be rare. Does it look like this? https://www.antique-bottles.net/forum/m-212615/mpage-1/key-kern/tm.htm#213509

    Mixed Sodas - ACLs, Embossed

I don't think the ACL's are anything special, but some of the embossed ones look like they might be worth it.
