This page has the 1916 Charlotte North Carolina city directory listing for Chero-Cola Bottling Co. with "phone 908". The manager was Chas Arey as can be seen in the same web page. There are also some of the employees of Chero Cola listed.

Cool, those pages always blow my mind. It took some jumping to get to
"AREY CHAS C (Julia), mngr Char Chero-Cola Bottling Co, h 10 n Church — phone 908".
In the 25 bottlers encyclopedia it lists Mecklenburg Chero-Cola at 302 E. 9th St.
