first person to figure this out rules the boards!

I see spark plug was mentioned.It does look like that as well.But I've never seen one with a aluminum bottom like that.All the old ones I find never have much left being made of iron.Looks like aluminum would melt screwed in the head of a engine.Also looks like it would strip out easy.Below is...

Thanks LC for your thoughts as well.I mentioned that in the other post .Other then the embossed part they are a very close match.They do seem to have made a clear version but haven't found a pic. of it. Thanks again for everyones opinion. Take care & Best to ya All...

Thanks folks for the help.I had seen the other ones on here but could not tell if the bottom was marked or not,did not look like it but could not see them well either.And nothing was said about it so thought I'd ask.Thanks again. Pete

Slug Plate Coke

Hey folks not been on here in a looooong time.But I still get out now & then mainly Metal detecting.Anyway found this straight sided coke awhile back & have not been able to find much info on the mark on the bottom does anyone know more about it?( B.H.Co.) Thanks & Take Care...

Putnam Bottling Works? Anyone know it?

Found this on your bottle maker. Putnam Glass Works in a circle Putnam Flint Glass Works, Putnam, OH, ca. 1852-1871

Bottle flask.

I often wondered about that cyberdigger,I have found quite a few over the years that I would sure loved to had done.Quite a few money bottles I've seen that could of used a Dr.Fankinstien's touch.And i am sure there is somewhere but I guess the idea of the bottle not being original keeps it from...

Thats purdy neat! I knew they had to be another one out there.Not been able to find much info out on it.I thought a little later though with the seem so low on the neck.But could be wrong if you have a site that other ones are coming out you know are 1880-1890circa.Just a knew place I had ran...

Almost a "Mallet Type Bottle"

Hey zane,there is a formula for these types of bottles it is the shoulder height to the first curve,divided by diameter of the bottom.Less than 1 mallet,1or around low 1 transitional mallet,higher then it is s bottle with arrows.JPG (110.19 KB, 892x1188 - quat cylinder.This one I found...

Bottle

Found this yesterday metal detecting have seen and found them with out the pattern but none like this one.It is machine made and looks to have a side for a lable.Probably common I just don't remember ever finding one.Would like to know what it was used for.
