    Four KC-1 cobalt

I found what I was looking for while bumping around on an auction site. http://www.rtam.com/agg/cgi-bin/CATALL.CGI There's a few more days to go on the auction too, so the price may go up. James

    Four KC-1 cobalt

Thank you for the replies. I appreciate it. The stamp on the bases of the 3 larger bottles is H.B.CO. The shortest bottle is 4.75 inches to the lip, the middle bottle is 5.5 inches to the lip, and the two tallest bottles are 7 inches tall. James

    Four KC-1 cobalt

These bottles were given to me by my father in law before he passed. I am not a bottle collector, but by doing research on this site, I found that these are probably KC-1 bottles. My father in law had these as long as my wife can remember and they are in immaculate condition, with the...

Codd bottle from the S.S. Purina

RE: Codd bottle from the HMS Purina I entered the parameters for this bottle on their dating engine (Thanks for that, Tod!). It calculates a date of 1895-1910 for my bottle, which is a little early to be contemporary with the wreck (but within a few years). It is hard to imagine that the...

Codd bottle from the S.S. Purina

RE: Codd bottle from the HMS Purina Something I read said that Barnard & Sons made this type of bottle from 1895-1910. I would have to find better documentation on it and there just doesn't seem to be much in the way of info on Codds from St. Vincent that I've been able to find. James

Codd bottle from the S.S. Purina

RE: Codd bottle from the HMS Purina It turns out that the ships is the HMS Purina and not the S.S. Purina. The bottle remains unchanged... James

Codd bottle from the S.S. Purina

I was in Carriacou (just north of Grenada) on a dive vacation with my wife over Thanksgiving of 1999 right on the heels of Hurricane Lenny. The rest of the divers had cancelled their trip, leaving us to have the place to ourselves for a few days. One of the sites we dove was a WW I minesweeper...

    GVI-4 Flask?

Thanks very much to everyone for taking the time to answer me. This appears to be a good one to have found intact. There is a local bottle show next weekend in Raleigh, at the State Fairgrounds. I may take the bottle there and see what they have to say about it. James

    GVI-4 Flask?

Hey everybody. I signed up to get more info on the bottle I found last week. From the many hours of searching I have done online, I gather this is a Baltimore Glass Works GVI-4 Flask. It says "Corn for the World" with a raised ear of corn on the front and "Baltimore" with a tall building on...
