To do the insides, yes. Not something I ever thought of doing until Bottleworm mentioned it over here. I still think it's a kickass idea!

Weird Maker's Mark - Simple Bottle

Thanks, Indiana! A quick check doesn't turn up a lot of info on them, but I did see a a similar star mark. No little crescent thing, though. Guess I'll keep looking :)

I think it's a stellar solution... especially with Plumbata's idea of adding a layer of bubble wrap! Of the bottles I own, I think there's only a small handful that are even close to something resembling pristine on the exterior. I'm weirdly drawn to flawed glass. Bruises, scuffs... even those...

Thanks Jim! Sometimes I just Google myself to death and find nothing [;)]. I guess if it's a highly sought after gem then it has to be a keeper. Oh, what am I talking about, I'm keeping it either way lol. That nasty chip on the front just adds character (and absolutely... can't beat the price!)...

Okay... enough lurking. I guess I have to man (woman?) up and take the plunge so... hi all! :) Have these two bottles I picked up at the local flea market. One I paid a quarter for and the other the guy gave me because of the chip on the front. Both are clear and the Brainerd is about 5.75"...
