    dug with Dug

    Dug these with my brother Dug this afternoon. Bought a metal detector and found the grapeshot and some other goodies I'll post on the appropriate pages. Going on a dig in the Adirondack's tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'll have something to post.

    bottle dump

    These are a few from a botlle dump. Not too old, but getting deeper and deeper. also found a 1750's chineese stamped coin. Not as valuable as I thought when I spotted it!

    under five feet of earth and bricks, then 2 feet of water, this wooden bowl felt like rubber.

    cannon ball and smalls

    I live and work two blocks from Americas oldest cannon factory. It was built in 1812 and I can only guess how the round got here. Found in in the yard years ago. The ring, clay marble,acorn (was silver plated) and little doll are some recent finds. any info on the doll?
