Dug these with my brother Dug this afternoon. Bought a metal detector and found the grapeshot and some other goodies I'll post on the appropriate pages. Going on a dig in the Adirondack's tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'll have something to post.

Nice bottles, good finds. Wasn't there an US armory or cannon manufacturer in West Troy? I would think that an Adirondack logging camp may yield some whiskey bottles.

Yes, the arsenal is two blocks away. There since 1813. This is the second cannon ball ive found. I was cleaning up the site a lil and found a hennesey nolan 1882 blob top. Stoked! Pix will be coming this week.
