    I have one more interesting bottle maybe. She leans a little when stood up and there is a seam around the throat? and I am guessing that it is a pontiled bottled. So ideas as to whether its worth anything or what it might have been used for are of course appreciated.

    There is a heavy seam around the base of the bottle. All in all the bottle appears to be in excellent shape with no chips, and the embossing circle is kinda neat too but I hadn't noticed it before the circle actually is indented at the bottom and proud or sticking out at the top

    Red I think you are correct the bottom plate says empire and patented Aug 13 01 So I may have put this in the wrong category

    From Bleeker St in Manhattan? to rural upstate NY seems like a long way for a quart of milk to travel in 1900ish. I'm thinking its worth millions. ;)
