Dangerous looking spot! But it's hard to tell just how steep. At the bottom of the slope, near the water it looks like there is a flatter area (first pic, on the left side of frame). Maybe there could be more whole bottles that rolled down to that point and stopped. Also, the "v" shaped channel...
Hey that's some good stuff in my opinion. Can't pay attention to the negative voices. The poison is real cool as is the Christmas Coke. I think I also see a Carter's ink well and the amber whiskey flask (with the tall cap) might be "four roses" which can go for around $20.
Beautiful! Looks like you pulled out a lot of great bottles at that site. How much more is still there do you think? I've learned it's a good idea to have your friends/family aware of your interest in old bottles cause they will let you know about things like that!
Nice stuff for sure and way to keep an eye out for surface finds. A lot of people don't think much of the "federal law" bottles, but I've seen lots of 5-10 of those go for a decent amount of money in online auctions. And the older ones (30's/40's) can have some nice embossing. I always keep...
