You would think if you pitch a bottle from a moving train at a power pole even at low speed that it would shatter or at least crack. I think at that price point I'll hold onto it, it looks pretty good in my "finds" cabinet. Speaking of, I need a new bulb for it. I gotta remember to call them...

I emailed the Jermyn historical society & they gave me the same information. When I punched in McDermott nothing came up in the area but they did give me a descendant's phone # so I'll try calling later today. Bottlers has been been around as a pub & bottler for 125 years, according to the...

I've lived in PA for 4 years & have found a few bottles but this is the first I can't find another...

Just uploaded pics. It's hard to tell but the mold seam on one side is much shorter than the other. I cleaned it as best I could but there's still some junk in there. I'll have to try rice or an actual bottle brush to get the rest out. I saw those 2 references as well but no image results that...

Hi everyone, new member but not a new digger here. Currently living in NE PA & while looking for insulators by some RR tracks the other day I came across a nice little piece of glass but I need help. I'll post pictures in the AM Numerous bubbles in the glass, mold seems run almost to the neck...
