Ive got this awsome place right behind an old asylum and since they wont let anyone on the property to look around, I figured I would do some diving right behind the place in hopes that someone at somepoint threw some bottles into the river. My question is, would I have to get permission to dive...
Got a few pics of some of the bottles I got today, got around 150+ and only have these few pics. Still have some medicines, fruit jars, milk bottles, etc.... that I need to go through and clean and get pics.

Just wondering if anyone has dug a privy from an old post office, if so then did you find any good bottles? Ive got permission to dig at an old house that the owner said was the original post office in this area in the 1800's.
We are possibly taking a trip up to Baltimore in September and I wanted to know if there are any diggers close to there so we could get together and dig some bottles?
Went out today to the spot I had probed a few weeks ago and started to dig, dug about 3 feet before we called it a day (I was very sick yesterday). We found only one small nail polish bottle and quite a few large bricks in the spot. Some were even stacked there it looks like a wall.
Ive been thinking alot lately about tumblers, could someone not use a hot dog roller minus the hear? The ones ive seen turn very slow and could possible hold a canister, with none or a little modifying. So anyone try it?

Ive been looking through the sanborn maps online and I dont really know what the outhouse would be, I have an idea but I wanted your opinion. Are these little buildings the outhouses? Would it be worth digging?
I recently got my first insulator and its covered with this black stuff that wont budge. Ive tried scrubbing it with steel wool, and just about everything I can think of at the moment. Whats the best way to clean that stuff off?
