Onekama Michigan pottery beers
Picked up a few of these early pottery beer bottles. They are stamped C Whitting Onekama. Others say Carl Whitting Onekama. I believe these date to the 1870’s andcwere made by the Herman pottery firm in Milwaukee Wi. Can anyone tell me about them?- tfredrich

P. HALL PHILADA PONTIL SODA /
I'm no fan of tumbling bottles either. You never get that glass back! Funny thing about the loads of pontilled sodas we bought out of a resale shop, some are tumbled, others aren't. Apparently these all came from a collections amassed back in the 70's. Anyway we know little about them so keep...- tfredrich

Forest green Roussel Philad pontil soda
Can anyone give me the current value of a Roussel forest green pontilled soda. This is the one with the large block letters that wrap around the entire bottle. Embossing reads ROUSSEL PHILAD. Not sure if my offer is fair. Contemplating selling it. Damage free about perfect example. Thanks! Tom- tfredrich

These turned up at a local resale shop, Twitchell Philadelphia, top hat blob, iron pontilled, Next a W.H. Burt San Fransisco deep green, also Iron pontilled, Lastly a Hassinger & Petersson St Louis superior Mineral Water, also iron pontilled. What can you tell me about these? Stay tuned for...- tfredrich

I can't believe I found one!
By the way, I am the other guy whose generally along with Bob when he finds all of these incredible things! We have been bottle diving for about 14 years together. I have only counted on one hand how many times he has swam in from his area with a glazed over speechless look on his face! I know...- tfredrich

Mineral waters found in a resale shop
I bought about 12 bottles total so I have about $8 into each bottle. The deep green colors of these early mineral water blobs are unreal! Just awesome in a window. I don't collect anything from outside of Wisconsin, so these are floating out on the Bay for about 6 more days. (Ebay that is)...- tfredrich

Rare 1/2 Pint honey amber Watertown Wisconsin blob beer
Here is a rare 1870's blob half pint beer from the tiny town of Watertown Wi. Charles Fuermann was a beer brewer in the late 1870's. This came during a river dive for bottles not far from my house. I had never even found a shard of one of thse and this one was in a pile with 5 other broken...- tfredrich

Glass gravitating stoppers for Matthews bottles for sale.....
Here is a shot of a few of the bottles that were near these stoppers. One is a very rare spiral spring stopper soda that pre dated the Matthews bottles.- tfredrich

My friend Bob had offered some of these on this forum in the past. I recently found just under 300 of them in that same lake his came from. Many have the rubber gaskets still on the end. 3 Cobalt bottles from local ad......
The center bottle is definately a cornflower blue, not even close to aqua which makes it very desireable here in the state to collectors. A better pic maybe... TF- tfredrich

I picked these up today, after making a woman an offer for them yesterday. She advertised some old bottles for sale in a local ad. Evidently it didn't take her long to decide to sell them to me, as the deal was done first thing this morning. They came out of the greater Milwaukee Wi. area over...- tfredrich
