hi everyone, found this today, it is 5" tall, 3" across base, 2 3/4"acroos opening. embossed contents, 12oz. liquid, wilton farm dairy, g.j. zaiser, catonsville, md. 1st one i found like this. any information as to age, contents (milk?), or value would be greatley appreciated. thanks for looking, rhona

Hey Rhona, this was probably a cottage cheese jar or possibly some other dairy product like sour cream. If you look on the bottom of the bottom of the jar or maybe close to the bottom you might see a number like 43. This stands for the year 1943. I couldn't find one on ebay who knows might be pretty decent.

Oops, I really meant bottom of the bottle not bottom of the bottom. [:)]

hi diggerbryan, thanks so much for checking that, i havn't mastered e bay yet. i did a census search. found a george j zaiser listed in the 1900, 1920 and 1930 census in 1920 he was 54 and listed as a dairy man and owns dairy. in 1930 age 64, listed as manager, dairy farm on wilkens ave. the only thing on the base is 1 B 9. thanks AGAIN, RHONA
