I have one backet of shards, and it includes pieces of Montreal Telegraph Co. CD143 insulators (I am a collector). I am actually trying to get permission to dig there as it is currently a vacant lot. So far I have barely scratched the surface, as I wanted to remain discreet until I have permission. I was actually in the area on an old railway bed and dug a threadless CD740 in light green with the E DUPONT ST. JEAN base embossing. These are thought to have been manufactured by Foster Brothers around 1860. Dupont is thought to be the name of the foundry that made the mold, but similar insulators are embossed FOSTER BROTHERS ST. JOHN'S CE 1858.
