Help dating this bottle

Found this bottle a few days ago up in the hills in Austria, outside of Graz.

Was seeing if anyone had any ideas about its relative age. Or how I would go about figuring that out. Only thing I was able to find out so far was that the pontil mark on the bottom places it before 1900

The bottle is full of bubbles of various sizes, and the walls are uneven and much thicker at the base.

Looks like a medicine bottle.
I love the crude ones like yours.
In the US bottles were made with a pontil approximately up until just before the Civil War era.

Welcome to the forum! That's a beautiful bottle, unfortunately I'm not sure any of us are familiar enough with Austrian glassmaking history to accurately date it. Manufacturing techniques changed significantly from one country to the next, and some adopted new technologies much more quickly than others. It looks pretty early though, I'd assume it dates to well before 1900. First half of the 19th century seems pretty likely, if not even older.
