It looks like a Flange lip has been combined with a taper top. I haven't got a clue. They must have had a special tool made for this one.

I have one of those Hastings. Looks similar. This one has a american feel to it. It has a kind of Key Mold with an open pontil. Bottle is just under 4 inches tall.

Got this little pontil off feebay the other day. Has a really unique lip. Anyone seen this before?

I have an American made bottle with that kind of lip Rory, I just cant remember where or what box in my attic it is in. It does look experimental in nature.Nice pick up.The English bottle is neat too!!

That lip has been referred to as "the Lancaster Lip" by some western NY collectors. There are several medicines blown at the Lancaster Glassworks near Buffalo NY that have that exact lip style. (the Hastings Naphtha Syrup included, - not English)
