Brown Stoneware Bottle Pontil?

I think that this is a Pontil? If not what is it called and what is it's history? How old is it? Says BUTSCHKY towards the top of the bottle. It is brown stoneware. Any information you have for me would be great. Thank you.

Pontils are on glass bottles, your ginger beer could be 1850-1880's but it doesn't belong here... Jim
