I need some help with the bottle in the attached pictures.....age, rarity, use (whisky?), and I would especially like to know a value for this bottle (near mint condition)

I don't now about this bottle, but it looks like a good one. We should have a picture of the finish,(with the question of side seams on it).
A picture of the bottom of the bottle, would tell us more about the making method.
It looks like a neat slug plate flask.

It definitely appears to be a 1890 - 1920 whiskey flask. Rarity / value needs to be determined by collectors of bottles from thatr location. It probably doesn't have universal appeal.
I ave seen people advertising for D.C. bottles..looks like a good on to me!!I will buy the base for 30 dollars and you can keep the rest of the bottle..that includes shipping!![] Really a beautiful piece of furniture!! JAMIE
