My digging colleges dug this this a.m. in Nova Scotia. This is the only picture I have so far. They said it is threadless. Any info appreciated. [attachment=20141002_093735.jpg]

That is a good one to have in your collection - congrats!! i still have a few, but not part of my interest right now, I still like to get the solid ones, which were created when the filled the mold with hot glass to heat up the metal molds. RED M.

Thanks for the replies and info. I have already notified the finder. Unfortunately it apparently has a crack in it. I hope to get more pictures of it. I believe it is for sale if someone wants to make an offer.

So it is obviously the type that would improve any collected group. The ones used before the wooden threaded holder post, are fascinating because the wind could lift the old ones like this off the pole. RED Matthews

I am sure the new owner appreciates it. The finder sold it for $500.00 to a collector here in Nova Scotia. Top $$$ for a cracked insulator!! Everyone's happy!!
