Hey All,

Its been awhile, work, family, life has kept me of the site for some time. But I haven't stopped collecting, digging, looking, and today I picked up nearly a hundred bottles, 60 of them apothecary bottles. Posting those as well.
Well in the boxes I found three items that I just dont know too much about and would like some help. I think the first two are possibly French (?) and ceramic, the third I have no clue where it was made and is milk glass.
Number 1 is 7.5" and marked Silybum Marianum (Milk Thistle), number 2 is 4.5" and marked Melisa (?) and number 3 is just over 6" at the topper and marked Cint. Acil. Ruil. Google search on number 3 brings up nothing.
Any help will be appreciated, Mark 20160312_133657_001-1 (316x640).jpg20160312_133723-1 (327x640).jpg20160312_133809-1 (244x640).jpg

they were commonly used in Europe , though a few apothecaries had them here. Most were made in Italy dating from the 16th century .

Thanks for the info. I saw quite a few online but these have no markings so I cant get definitive results. Do you have any idea of a price range for these items? I'm more than likely going to add them to my collection, but curious as to their worth.

I would put them in the 30.00 to 40.00 dollar reign.

Thanks for the info sunrunner. Found out that they are porcelain and not ceramic like I thought and the one on the far right is milk glass.
