If anyone has any information about this company please feel free to share, thanks :D...
This company was founded by Samuel Liebmann and produced, among other things, Rheingold Extra Dry. Samuel's son Joseph and son-in-law David Obermeyer would found their own company, Obermeyer & Liebmann's for 30 years before merging back with S.L.S.B Co. in 1924.
This is an early 1890's O&L bottle featuring their trademark sun logo. The brewery lasted until 1924 when it went bankrupt and was bought out by Samuel Liebmann & Sons, who was the older company father of Joseph Liebmann, father-in-law of David Obermeyer, and investor of Rheingold.
This is a James Everard's Breweries beer bottle. The buisness operated from 1885-1926. James Everard was one of the few brewers of Irish ancestry operating in the predominantly German NYC brewing industry of the time.
Did some mudding today.
This blob top bottle says "Trade Mark Schlitz Registered P. M. Ohmeis & Co. Sole Agents New York".

Went on another adventure today. First went snorkeling off an old pier, nothing to be found there but big sea snails unfortunately. Had more luck at another location where the recent rain storms had washed away some of the surface.
Found a nice tooled pumpkin seed flask and a old perfume...
I found this dark-green mineral water bottle in February 2022. It is from the Hathorn Spring of Saratoga Springs NY. It dates from 1870-1880. Applied blob. Hathorn Spring water still flows today and is said to be very high in sulphur and nasty tasting, but I don't judge.
Hey, I recently saw an article in Bottles and Extras about early Florida blob tops. I’ve been putting together a collection of the earliest sodas from each area of the country and am wondering if anyone has leads on a Solary or George H. Emery blob top bottle from Jacksonville. I prefer bottles...
Hi all,
I bought an aqua example of this bottle at a show recently and (as always happens) it piqued my curiosity for more detailed information, so.... just wanted to post a query on the soda bottles marked "LANCASTER GLASS WORKS / N.Y." with the "XX" markings. I know they are found in aqua...
