I scouted out a privy over on Lord street and talked to the property owner. The property is flat and vacant of structures (1891 Sanborn) And is vacant as a football field with the privy almost howling at me. (maybe I hope.) The land owner lives next door and he said yes to the dig. These small Kansas towns are really weird. I'm 51 and been her all my life and can remember at least 3 situations in which someone was killed and everyone knew who was responsible. Nothing..... Nothing!! ever happened.....time cures all in small towns. Think I'll stick to bottle hunting and walk the straight and narrow.
