This is my oldest bottle that I have so far. I found it while fishing on my boat in clear shallow water. I found a dark bottle on the floor and scooped it up with my net and here it is now all cleaned up!

Congrats. If you see any old beer cans in the water scoop those up too.

Nice slug. Those are some heavy bottles. All that glass for 7 1/2 ounces.

its a neat find to have pulled from a lake , you can still find some neat older sodas in lakes but usually if you find a bottle it will be modern or 50's - 60's era , is what I normally find

Thanks guys, I'm surprised it hasn't been broken yet. It's probably been down there rolling around the whole lake since that time period. There was some weird pink algae thing in it.
