I found this bottle inside the wall of a house I remodeled so knew it had been there since house had been built in early 40's. I found patent and that it was made by Owens Illinois Glass at the Gas City Indiana plant in 1936 but I haven't figured out if it is a medicine bottle or what its use was. Neat little bottle but I can't find any further info than what I've found. Seems to be unique as I've not run across any pictures of any similarity. If anyone knows anything more I'd thank them for info.
edit (I located a post from 2009 on www.minibottles.com where a person found 2 of these same bottles near some railroad tracks in Florida. Mine was found in central Illinois so I'm guessing a nationwide product. I emailed Owens Illinois Glass asking them for information on this bottle. Curiosity is killing me. LOL
