He is from your side of the Atlantic and is one of if not the most knowledgeable British glass historians.

If I were to stick it on eBay it would be the UK Canadian, and Aussie eBay sites. There seems to be a lot of chatter regarding the manufacturer of your bottle in Canada and Australia.

I did gather that from trawling ebay earlier on. Seems to be a lot more interest in collecting glass and bottles from the US and Australia than there is in the UK but got to be some concern over shipping it that distance safely.

Ive shipped all sorts of items worldwide in my time (mainly automotive parts) but how do you pack something like this well enough to ensure it doesnt break?

Lots of bubble wrap, and newspapers will suffice.shipping costs if mentioned properly will not matter to someone in great need of the bottle...........Just don't use HDS delivery service they dont have a good track record in regards to glass. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Q6_9A90cUk

I am surprised that a courier service hasn't picked up on this scene and used it against a rival in a TV commercial. As the Larry the Cable Guy says that there is funny I dont care who you are!! I dont know if Larry is popular in Great Britain Paul but give this a look.[:D] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0PZ31SF7rY&feature=related
